Meet the team
behind EstateQuoter.
EstateQuoter was built by people who understand how emotional and complicated estate
situations can be, both from lived family experiences and from years of working
professionally in the space. Our mission is to give families a clear & calm
starting point, so you can get trustworthy help without pressure, confusion, or
redundancy.
Together, Todd and Michael combine hands-on experience in estate sales and cleanouts with
online product and customer experience design. EstateQuoter is built to respect your time,
your family, and your situation.
Todd is a U.S. military veteran and owner of Caring Transitions of Chesapeake &
Virginia Beach West, where he has personally helped hundreds of families with estate sales,
cleanouts, downsizing, and senior moves.
He brings on-the-ground experience from walking properties, understanding how full they
really are, and talking face-to-face with families who are overwhelmed, grieving, or unsure
where to start.
Todd and his wife Lynn are long-time members of the Hampton Roads community and care deeply
about serving seniors, veterans, and local families with respect and patience.
Based in Virginia Beach, Michael has spent more than a decade building consumer-focused
platforms that connect people with the right services.
He is also the founder of FreeTrials.com, a directory for software introductory offers,
where he designs systems that prioritize trust, transparency, and ease of use.
Michael's entrepreneurial spirit began at age 8, attending garage sales & estate sales
with his mother on weekends, while shadowing his father in business meetings during the
week. He aims to help simplify estate logistics to take pressure off families and
professionals alike.
EstateQuoter exists to make a stressful, unfamiliar process feel more organized and less overwhelming.
We believe families deserve clear options without sales pressure or confusion.
